Your book is very timely with so many institutions creating DEI committees. How do you think your book fits into present efforts of anti-racism.

One question about history and another about Adrienne as an author. Why was English acceptable as an alternative to Afrikaans, since English is certainly a colonial and often oppressive language as well? And secondly, did you face any challenges in writing this story as a white South African?

Can you tell us how the South African apartheid compares to the Israeli apartheid? do see any hope of ending it in the near future?

any plans for a film adaptation?

The Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are not citizens of Israel. The different roads and checkpoints came about under Ehud Barak who built the wall given the active attacks from the territories.

Just a Comment- this was a very moving book, thank you for it. My 1st grade son is “autistic” (sometimes I question that), and he is very much into pictures, and I am looking forward to exploring this “informational text” with him. I think you didn’t get any negative push-back because you were relaying the Truth! And we owe it to the youth!
